Project Manager
Hillmann Consulting, LLC in Union, NJ seeks Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for determining the applicability of regulations and identifying the regulatory jurisdiction over projects to ensure compliance. They will prepare cost proposals, identify new business opportunities, and manage job number creation and invoicing through Deltek software. The role involves conducting inspections and risk assessments for lead-based paint hazards, managing hazardous waste operations safely, and performing mold assessments and lead risk assessments. Additionally, they will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly, while fostering high levels of client satisfaction. The Project Manager will prepare comprehensive reports summarizing project findings, analyses, and recommendations, implement quality control measures, lead multidisciplinary project teams, and manage personnel and equipment schedules to ensure the successful completion of projects. They will maintain certifications required to complete tasks for designated job. This position is based in New Jersey and may require travel to other project sites in the New York/New Jersey area as well as to offices throughout the US. The Project Manager is required to travel to client sites for small projects on a quarterly basis for 1-3 days to survey or collect samples for clients.
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related and 2 years of experience in any occupation in which one would gain experience with the (i) determining applicability of regulations and regulatory jurisdiction over projects; (ii) preparing cost proposals, opportunities, job number creation, and invoices in Deltek; and (iii) ensuring project compliance. Must also possess the following certifications: NJ Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor; EPA Lead-based Paint Risk Assessor; OSHA Hazwoper 40 Hour; NYS Mold Assessor. Salary: $116,750
